Message from the Chairman of the Irish Division of The Caravan Club

Welcome to the website of the Irish Division. Within these pages you will find information on all the planned events held through out the Irish Division run by the three Centres and contact details of your Centre Officers etc.

It is a great honour and privilege to have been elected to serve as your Chairman for the coming year. I will endeavour to maintain the very high standards as set by our Past Chairmen and I hope to represent and promote the Irish Division just as they have done before me.

The 2009 Irish Division National Rally held at the City of Derry Rugby Football Club was organised by the Ulster Centre and our thanks go to the Centre Committee for a very successful rally.

The Division Dinner Dance was held in Virginia, organised by the Leinster Centre and everyone who attended had an enjoyable time. In order to attract more members we have changed the venue this year to Camac Valley Tourist C+C Park and the Dinner Dance will be in Green Isle Hotel. The Irish Division ask that you put it in your diary and please give it your support.

The Irish Division National Rally is being organised by the Munster Centre at Dungarvan, where everyone can be assured of a warm welcome and an excellent programme. I wish the Munster Centre all the very best and I look forward to meeting you there.

If you are a new member or one that has never rallied with us before, why not come along to one of our events listed here and join in the fun.

I would like to thank all the Centre Committee members and their partners along with their rally marshals who give up their time so freely so that we may enjoy our weekends.

Finally Catherine and I hope to attend rallies and events in all three Centres through out the next year and look forward to meeting as many members as possible whilst on our travels.

Catherine and I wish you safe and happy caravanning in the coming year.
